Akross the Middle Athletics is the vision of Coach Matt Major. Coach Major brings a wealth of first hand experience and direct knowledge in the sports of fitness and olympic lifting, but also in general strength & conditioning methodologies. ATM clients range from the elite competitor, to the female high school water polo player, to the middle-aged professional who is motivated to try something new and get into the best shape of their lives! Or maybe your an CrossFit Affiliate owner who simply wants their clients to have the best programming possible!

Along with coaching the olympic lifts, Coach Major's passion is designing strength & conditioning programs for each of his athletes! Coach Major is a firm believer that everyone needs a coach...and not just any coach! This coach must always have their clients best interest in mind; this includes providing an unbreakable foundation between coach & athlete so they can successfully & continually face any hurdle!

One of the things that Coach Major looks forward to most each day is the time he gets to spend designing the strength & conditioning programs for his clients. Coach Major found programming to be a natural progression from his days as a full time coach. His natural talent, instinct & love for programming is one of three things that he believes sets him apart from others. The other two being his continuous attention to every detail, and his drive & thirst to continually learn from his athletes, other coaches in the industry, and of course the drive to take advantage and utilize the ever changing wealth of knowledge that is always available.
